Greek Paralegal Association

The Greek Paralegal Association was founded in February 2017 by certified professionals of the 2015-2016 Certified Paralegal Program of Nomiki Bibliothiki, in collaboration with experienced legal professionals with many years of experience in legal support roles. The Association aims at the institutional recognition and promotion of the role of Paralegals, contributing to their professional development and establishment. At the same time, it functions as a reference point and connection between its members and law firms/companies, corporate legal departments and organizations, notary offices and bailiff offices, promoting quality, reliability and effectiveness in the provision of legal services.

• Support for education, internships, job search, lifelong learning and professional development.
• Cultivating communication and solidarity among members and coordinating efforts to promote professional, educational and scientific goals and interests.
• Ensuring high-level professional behavior and adherence to ethical principles in the sector, including the establishment of a Code of Ethics.
• Attracting appropriately trained human resources to join the Paralegal profession.
• Establishing criteria and certifying training programs for Legal Profession Professionals (Paralegals).
• Mediating in resolving disputes between members, to the extent they relate to their work and cooperation.
• Strengthening cooperation among members through a network for exchanging knowledge, experiences, know-how and best practices.
• Networking and affiliation with corresponding associations abroad for the transfer of know-how, best practices and other consulting methods and tools.
• Informing and raising awareness in the legal world about the role, responsibilities and contribution of Paralegals.

The vision of the Association is to contribute to the further upgrading of legal services in our country, acting as an institutional body of support, development and representation of its members active in the broader legal sector. The Association seeks to establish a modern and reliable framework for staffing law firms, corporate legal departments, and notary offices with capable, trained and continuously developing professionals who will respond with ease, professionalism and effectiveness to the requirements of legal service support. At the same time, it promotes lifelong learning, training and knowledge exchange, strengthens networking among its members and contributes to empowering the role of legal professionals in the labor market.

To become a member, fill out the registration application and pay the annual membership fee. After your application is approved by the Board of Directors, you will receive confirmation via email.
